WORKSHOPS

Featured workshops were:
                           • Status of Women Workshop presented by Alisha White Madison of The Bella Net-
                           work. She talked about the state of black professional women - what works and what isn’t.
                           She shared the importance of us sharing knowledge, resources and skills to expand our
                           businesses and elevate our careers and highlight ed the importance of relationship currency
                           and advocating for each other when we can’t be in the room.
                           • National President - Lady Drema Lee Woldman challenged us to consider “Can We
                           All Just Get Along?” As she described several “member types” - she emphasized that we
                           need all types of members and everyone’s opinion is important.
                           • Lady Eddie Lee Marsh, National 2nd Vice President discussed 5 Star Programming -
                           citing chapters and programs that re doing well. She recognized both Thrusts and Project
                           Chairs.
                           • Lady Sharon Beard, National 2nd Vice President conducted a mandatory TTA Advi-

    sor Continued Training Session. The training and information exchanged was well received by the Advisors.
• Robert Rules of Order in a Nutshell workshop was conducted by Lady Deadra Stokes, National Parliamen-

    tarian.

             NATIONAL OFFICERS AND
  PRESIDENTS APPRECIATION LUNCHEON

The National Officers, Past Area Directors and Chapter presidents were taken offsite to the renowned Harold and
Belles Restaurant to partake in a New Orleans style meal.
