The Ladera Heights Chapter brought Hollywood to the LAX Marriott Hotel for “Host Night” during the 38th
Area VI Leadership Conference.
Complete with a TLOD Pink Carpet “Walk of Fame”, Paparazzi, Swag bags for each guest, 5-Star TLOD News
Entertainment Reporter, internationally famous musical entertainment and culminated with the “Golden Crown
Awards” ceremony...this was a night of TLOD Stars in the land of Glitz and Glam!
The Ladera Heights Chapter left no stone unturned, when it came to providing the conference attendees with a
true Hollywood experience. Ladies Willie Stribling and Cheryl Washington tag-teamed as “Ms Golden Crown.”
Winners of the Golden Crown Awards were announced by participating Chapter Presidents, Lady Annie Howard,
(Mountain West Chapter) and Lady Betty Edwards (Inglewood Chapter) in two categories: Best Lady in a Leading
Role and Best Lady in a Supporting Role. Ladera Heights Chapter President, Lady Yolande Bankston announced
the winners of the “lifetime achievement” awards to TLOD National President, Lady Drema Woldman, National
First Vice President, Lady Sharon Beard, National Second Vice President, Lady Eddie Lee Marsh and National
Area VI Director, Lady Brenda Dodd.
It was all in great fun.
