Confluence Chapter
St. Louis County, Missouri
Small But Mighty!
You’ve often heard the expression, small but mighty, and for the Confluence Chapter we
may be a small chapter in numbers but we are mighty in service. We started our 2016-
2017 year with our Top Teens Recruitment Fair and Picnic that included mantras from our
M.O.M.E.N.T.U.M. program, which are incorporated into all of our programs. In
September ladies and teens had three activities in one day. We arrived at 6:00 am to
help set up and register for the Alzheimer’s Walk, then on to the Sickle Cell Stroll at 9:00
on the property of Washington University, then across town at noon to our Top Teens of
America Meeting. Of course, Grandparents’ day was in September and we certainly
appreciate our seniors and their contributions to our lives.
Top Ladies of Distinction, Inc. Confluence Chapter
celebrated our 20th Anniversary in October at the
Highlands Golf Club in Forest Park. This event
included breast cancer awareness where we had a
display and every guest received a breast cancer
scarf. Ladies and guests enjoyed the ambience of
the facility and grounds, and the entertainment.
A highlight of our year was the annual Blue and
Silver Ball where teens exhibited etiquette and
social graces as they were presented in a formal
and elegant event. Top Teens are our #1 Priority
so a great deal of time is spent ensuring that
they receive the best that TLOD has to offer.
Teens spent time preparing for Area III Conference
where they won several awards. They are pictured as
they worked on a display for the conference.
Confluence Teens won several awards at the 2017
Area III Leadership Conference.
