Evergreen Park Chicago

On Saturday, July 29, 2017, the Ladies of Evergreen Park
Chicago Chapter partnered with Savage Race 2017. Although
we are on summer hiatus, we couldn’t pass the opportunity
to be paid for volunteering our time. Our Chapter received
payment for each volunteer that we brought out. We
cheered the racers at the finish line! The runners were
grateful, we had sisterly fun, and now the world of
competitive racing knows and respects the name TLOD!
Under the auspices of Status of Women, the Evergreen Park Chapter solicited
donations of purses, shoes, toiletries and accessories at each of our events. We
proudly collected two hundred and sixty four purses; over a dozen pairs of shoes
and toiletries for women and the back to work initiative. Our donations were
shipped to Syn-Lod in ten huge boxes!

Beautification and Top Teens on Arbor Day

Our Ladies and Teens brought awareness to the importance and beauty of trees for
Arbor Day. In partnership with the Morton Arboretum, they encouraged ours to be "Tree
Champions" by hanging trees tags in the Beverly neighborhood. #treechampions
