LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE

The 34th Area IV Leadership Conference was in Raleigh, NC at the Raleigh Convention Center on
March 24-27. The theme of the conference was “Unifying TLOD & TTA Legacy Builders One Brick at a
Time.” There were 400 Ladies, Teens and Lords in attendance to enjoy the various conference
workshops, the Public meeting, TLOD/TTA Partners Award Luncheon, Literary Cafe, Open Mic Night,
TTA College Tour to North Carolina Central University, Memorial Service, Prayer Breakfast, and the
TLOD/TTA Presentation Gala. The 34th Area IV Leadership Conference welcomed a variety of guests,
presenters and speakers at this years conference to include: Minister Stephen Leon Williamston, Jr.,
Three Anointed Sisters, Dr. Pernessa C. Seele (Founder of the Balm in Gilead, Inc.), Mr. Roger L.
Collins (NCCU Clinical Lab Faculty), KaSandra Smith (Boston Heart), Mr. Reggie Joe (Financial
Advisor) Kathy Norcotte (Assistant Executive Director of Piedmont Health Services), Channing
Sommers (Teen battling Sickle Cell). During the Prayer Breakfast, the former TTA National President
LeZaire Reese surprised the Area with a solo.
