Decommissioning of IT Assets
With the shift to greater ‘work from home’ practices, organisations are facing the challenge of technology change. We work with
existing Managed Service Providers (MSPs) to securely decommission old hardware and deliver new hardware without putting a
strain on existing resources.
Xperien offers a tech upgrade programme, which provides hassle-free nationwide collection, delivery or swap-out with full reporting.
Compliance 325™
Through Compliance 325™, Xperien ensures the mitigation of data loss and environmental contamination that corporate entities
face at the end-of-life of IT assets. Compliance 325™ conforms to PoPIA, the National Environmental Management Act No. 107 of 1998
(NEMA) and the Consumer Protection Act (CPA).
Compliance 325™ ensures that CIOs, directors, legal secretaries and information officers are protected against the personal liability
they could face if their organisations are found to be non-compliant with POPIA or NEMA.
Compliance 325™ adopts a 3-5 year life-cycle policy while creating the most effective auditable reporting and certification in South
Africa. Documentation of unique serial numbers, specifications and conditions, logistical records, service delivery time frames,
trending data and data destruction procedures are deployed.
