Value Recovery of IT Assets
ITAD is more than just recycling eWaste. It is an excellent sustainability model that includes the extension of functional life for IT assets
and parts. As such, Xperien offers the following to clients:
• Implementation of a customised value recovery plan for IT assets
• Recouping of fair market value for end-of-life and redundant IT equipment
• Promotion of reuse and redeployment
Disjointed ITAD increases risks and can hurt a company’s bottom line. At Xperien, we provide a one-stop solution for decommissioning
and retiring end-of-life IT equipment. Our solution manages all aspects of the IT lifecycle including transportation, identification,
testing, repair, data sanitisation and value recovery.
Certified Refurbishment Systems™
With Certified Refurbished Systems (CRS™) equipment, we overcome global supply chain constraints at the same time as reducing
IT hardware budgets by up to 54%. Through CRS™, clients can purchase laptops and desktops that provide 80% of the performance
level of a new machine at a cost which is up to 75% less than a new machine. This ensures long-term viability and functionality at a
low cost.
Every year, our ISO-certified IT refurbishing facility CRS® WORX processes over 100 000 Tier 1 laptops, desktops and servers from
Dell™, HP™ and Lenovo™. All of our CRS™ computers come with a standard 12-month warranty that can be upgraded to suit client
requirements. Asset finance is also available on CRS™ equipment.
Our refurbishment processes repair and replace components at board level, and reverse obselence to avoid discarding motherboards.
We also harvest components from faulty computers either for repair purposes or to sell as spare parts.
Our refurbished products are especially popular in South Africa’s call centre environments, exceeding the requirements and
functionality required by this industry. CRS™ computers are also ideal for schools, learning centres and Corporate Social Investment
(CSI) programmes.
