Items from the estate of
Dr Moshe Wallach, the founder
of Shaare Zedek Hospital,
physician and mohel, who
headed the hospital from its
establishment until 1947. The
hospital, which was known
to Jerusalemites as Wallach
Hospital, was managed in the
spirit of Jewish practice and
according to Wallach’s
religiously strict worldview.
However, it served the
inhabitants of Jerusalem
of all faiths and communities |
