KATHY HENNESSY BRAHIMS BODYWORKS, QUEENSLAND.
It’s obvious that the team at Bra- hims Bodyworks think the world of their boss Kathy Hennessy. In their award submission they said: “Her position here encompasses many roles and certainly isn’t for the faint of heart.”
She is is business organiser from booking in and ensures smooth production flow. Like many business owners she can turn her hand to anything includ- ing quoting. She is also in charge of the accounts and payroll – which she is supremely qualified to do after completing a Cert IV in bookkeeping back in 2013 and has also completed a diploma of management.
Her entry submission went on to say: “Kathy is the cog in this engine room, and without her this business just simply would not survive. Apart from doing 12 hour days everyday, when everyone else has left and gone home she is still here making sure everything is prepared and ready for the following day/week. She is a force to be reckoned with. No amount of words would ever be able to do justice to the time and ef- fort she puts into the company. Eve- ryone is always so happy to see her and she always makes a point of coming out and saying good morn- ing to all her employees. Kathy Hen- nessey is truly one of a kind, a pow- erhouse of a lady and boss.”
