with cross overs. It is located in built up area
with private houses on both sides
(Kundanbagh & Brahmanwadi areas).
From the joint inspection note it is concluded
that it is feasible for Railways to provide RUB
within railway boundaries with a size of 5m
width x 2.5m height. Being BMT yard
approach, relocation of OHE portals, S&T
installations is also involved.
For providing approach roads by GHMC, land
acquisition is involved and existing private
buildings are to be relocated.
Approximate cost of this work within railway
boundary is Rs.5 Cr. and can be taken up by
Railways on full deposit terms from state
government. Approach roads, drainage,
should be taken care by State Government at
its own cost. Revised estimate according to
USSR-2019 is being prepared and the same
shall be advised to State officials at the
earliest.
