3.4 HOG Test-Kit:

 After the induction of HOG trains;
whenever the power car needs to be
checked in HOG working, a HOG
compliant loco was needed. Moreover

power car had to be brought under
wire so that HOG loco can be
connected.
 This involves lot of shunting and
wastage of manpower and loco. To
avoid this, a portable kit has been
developed departmentally which will

act as a substitute for HOG Compliant
loco for testing purposes under unwired
sections/depots/sheds.
