3.12 Special drive for clearance of debris in station premises/near track to prevent
cases of fire incidents

 A special drive has been conducted throughout the division for 15 days for
clearance of debris in electrical sub-station premises/DBs near track etc to

prevent cases of fire incidents. Maintenance of all the MDBs & SDBs have
been carried out and shortfalls noticed were attended during the drive.

(3)SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS (AC & TL)

3.1 Outsourcing of escorting duties of ACCAs:
In view of excess expenditure on Railways due to Over Time Hours of
escorting AC staff. Proposed to outsource escorting ACCA staff. The
Savings earned after Outsourcing ACCA escorting duties are estimated
and received administrative approval vice CESE/SCR’s office leter no.
E.227/TL&AC/4/70 dated: 25/10/21.

3.2 Provision of fire balls in Power cars & Pantry cars:
In view of fire accidents in Power cars and Pantry cars. For immediate fire
extinguish, provisided 10 nos. of fire balls in 44 Power cars (SC-26 & HYB-

18) and in 11 Pantry cars (SC-1 & HYB-10).
