(3).SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS

3.1 Provision of BLDC Fans

 184 Nos of Super Energy efficient BLDC fans provided in place of non star
rated ceiling fans and wall mounted fans at stations and service buildings over
the Division. These fans consume 44% less power over conventional
fans.Resulted in savings of 1.70 Lakh units per annum.

3.2 Improvement of illumination

 22W energy efficient high efficacy LED waist level lights have been provided in
place of defective lights at NGC/SNF M3 line for better illumination for regular

maintenance activities.

3.3 Improvement of illumination at Goods sidings

 JPTN siding:

200W energy efficient LED fittings have been provided in Cement siding/JPTN
for better illumination to loading and unloading activities.

KMT siding:

3 Nos of High-masts with 9 nos of 150W LED lights on each high-mast were
newly provided at KMT loading point for better illumination for loading and
