2. HIGHLIGHTS (AC & TL)
2.1 Scheme of bypass provision of extending supply to OMS/RA
coach from Power car as per RDSO/LKO:
Objective:
To extend the Power supply from the Power car to the Non-vestibule end
connected LHB EOG coaches (LHB OMS car/LHB Saloons/LHB Parcel Van).
The Existing design:
At present the power cars are
being attached at the
extreme ends of the
formations. When the train is
running with EOG supply from
either of the power cars or
both the power cars, The
supply will not be extended to
the Non-vestibule end of both
Power cars (ie., the extreme
ends). Because of this the
power supply cannot be
extended to the coaches
attached to the Non-
vestibule end of the power
cars.
Modification carried out departmentally in 31 Power cars (SC-18 & HYB-13)
2.2 Provision of Switch Board VPH:
Provision of additional
switches to control luggage
room lights from Guard
compartment of LHB type
power cars as per RDSO
letter dated: 23/06/20
Work completed
departmentally in all the
holding power cars at SC-21
& HYB-19
