Safety Meetings

 Interaction with running staff through
safety meetings (5 nos Avg. per Month)
have been conducted to counsel the
running staff about recent unusual
incidents and steps to be taken to
avoid such incidents.

2. ACHIEVEMENTS (HIGHLIGHTS) OF TRSO

2.1 REDUCTION OF REVENUE EXPENDITURE:
 31.46 million units of electrical energy was saved by shutting down
locos, switching off blowers, coasting & Regeneration and 938 KL of
HSD Oil was saved by shutting down of Diesel locos resulting in to a
saving of Rs. 8.59 Cr. (2020-21 (Apr-Mar) – 34.43 Cr saved).
 Outsourcing activities like CTR feeding, booking etc of all crew
lobbies are managed departmentally resulting in to a saving of 98.32
Lakhs.
 Reducing the man power at BIDR and PRLI Running rooms, Sand

Contracts has saved an amount of 67.80 lakhs.

2.2 IMPROVEMENTS IN RUNNING ROOM/CREW LOBBIES :

 Bellampalli (BPA) running room is renovated by
Providing Partition between beds, which helps

in maintaining social distance and also to avoid
disturbance to crew.

 Relays / Contactors panel of conventional & 3
phase locomotives has been provided at KZJ
lobby for practical demonstration and to
improve the technical knowledge of Running
staff.
