3. Achievements (Highlights):

i. Flagging of First BOXN CC rake (Black Rocket-1): GM/SCR has
flagged off -1) at Bellampalli
(BPA) depot on 07.09.2021. CC rake examination of BOXN rakes has
been started at BPA.

ii. Inauguration of Automatic Coach Washing Plant at SC Station: Shri
Gajanan Mallya, General Manager, SCR inaugurated Automatic

Coach Washing Plant at Secunderabad Railway Station on
01.10.2021, in the presence of Shri J.K.Jain, PCME/SCR and Shri
A.K.Gupta, DRM/SC and other officials.

The automatic coach washing plant is able to achieve complete
exterior cleaning of rake of 24 coaches in about 8-10 minutes
time i.e. improving quality of external washing, enhancing water
recycling capacity, ensuring better utilisation of manpower &

saving time. 20,848 kilo litres of water consumption is saved
annually.
