❖ ACTIVITIES OF THE SHED:
⮚ Minor schedules viz. IT, IA, IB, IC1, IC2, and IC-0.
⮚ Major schedules viz. TOH & IOH.
⮚ TRIP schedules & yard attentions of foreign locos.
⮚ Un-schedule repairs of all locos (including Foreign Locos).
⮚ Maintaining special featured locomotives having DPWCS,TCAS,RTIS, RMS & CVVRS
DPWCS System provided in 20 Locomotives (LOTUS=14 & MEDHA= 02 Locos)
TCAS system provided in 20 Locomotives (HBL=06, MEDHA=12 and KERNEX=02
Locos)
RTIS System provided in 31 WAG-9 Locomotives (BEL=31 Locos)
RMS system provided in 08 WAG-9 locomotives(LOTUS=08 Locos)
CVVRS system provided in 15 WAG-9 locomotives(KAMNEY Electronics =15 Locos)

⮚ Foundation stone of Shed Laid on 18/7/2002
⮚ Inspection shed Inaugurated by Hon’ble GM/SCR on 14/10/2004
⮚ Member Electrical Inspected shed on 25/11/2004
⮚ Commissioning of Heavy Lifting bay on 31/3/2007
⮚ Commissioning of ML and LL bays on 01/03/2008
⮚ Achieved the zonal best Efficiency shield in 2009-2010
⮚ Achieved the zonal best Efficiency shield in 2013-14 (sharing with BZA)
⮚ Received First prize of National Energy conservation awards 2016 for conservation
of Energy in Railway workshop sector.
⮚ ELS/KZJ achieved 5S Certificate and IMS Certificates by IRCLASS Systems and
Solutions Pvt. Ltd.
⮚ Achieved Energy Management Certificate ENMS ISO 50001:2011 from M/S Bureau
Veritas (India) Pvt. ltd.
⮚ Achieved Green Co-SILVER certificate from CII-GODREJ GBC
