MISS. V. VINI JONA B.A., B.Ed.,
The success of any educational institution is determined by the impact it creates on young
minds. These are the minds that will one day grow to become the pioneers of this generation.
Annai Velankanni Matric. Hr. Sec. School is one such institution that has grown from strength
to strength in the past 25 years since its inception. Our greatest accomplishment is to see our
students ride the road of not only much-deserved success but to see them exercise profound
wisdom in their actions, maintaining clarity of thought, and feel a deep-seated urge to change
the world. As AVMHSS celebrates its silver jubilee celebration, another milestone of significant
achievements, it is simultaneously writing a history that marks it as a school that believes in the
strength and capability of every child. It promises to nurture every inquisitive mind that walks
its grounds to the best of its ability. Through the hard work of our visionary Correspondent and
Principal, endeavouring teachers and relentless supporting staff, AVMHSS is ready to take on
new challenges to ensure that it provides an environment of constant education and learning
that makes a difference. I take this opportunity to congratulate our staff for their great sense of
dedication and commitment to the task of forming worthy and responsible citizens through the
mission of education. While academic excellence is our major thrust, the school is also devoted to
preparing the students for life, grooming them to face the challenges of tomorrow and
encouraging them to be socially relevant. The school is striving hard to make the best possible
efforts to inculcate strong values combined with academics and extracurricular activities in
children.
As a guide and mentor, I ensure that our students would become modest, humble and
disciplined as they soar in their careers and bring laurels not only to their families and school but
also to their motherland.
