Start by wrapping the line around the object, then doing it a second time, each time

crossing over the standing line (step 1). These wraps should be in the direction of the
intended pull. Finally, (step 2) wrap it a third time, but this time above the standing line
(away from the direction of pull). Then, complete the knot with a half hitch by tucking the
end under the last wrap. Pull it tight before applying pressure.
