A layer of the floor seemed to melt away and the
warm ground seemed to embrace me as Miss Grace’s
hypnotic voice continued …

loved ones who are still with us in spirit. They come in
to guide us when we call them, and most importantly,
to be the link, the connection between this world and
the spirit world. Beneath the timber of the floor is
Nuku. She is the Nature spirit of our beautiful Earth
home. We live on her domain and this is captured by

the term Papa-tu-a-Nuku - the Domain of Nuku. She
provides us with all that we need to shelter, feed and
nurture ourselves."
