Willy G. Davila, MD
Willy G. Davila, M.D., is a specialist in urogynecology
and reconstructive pelvic surgery at the Holy Cross
Dorothy Mangurian Comprehensive Women’s Center. His
expertise is in surgery for genital prolapse and urinary
incontinence in women. He is past president of the
International Urogynecologic Association (IUGA) and
past chairman of the Board of the National Association for
Continence (NAFC). Additionally, he is an honorary
member of several international societies. Dr. Davila is an
affiliate professor at the Florida Atlantic University School
of Medicine and a clinical associate professor at the
University of South Florida. After attending the
University of Texas at El Paso for his undergraduate
degree, Dr. Davila received his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical
School in Houston. He completed his residency at the University of Colorado, where
he received the “Most Outstanding Faculty Member Teaching Award” and the
“Golden Apple Teaching Award.” Dr. Davila also has contributed to dozens of books,
research and publications.
