Dr. Hayder Al-Azzawi is a board-certified colorectal and
general surgeon who chose his field because he enjoys per-
forming laparoscopic surgery and takes pride in doing most
of his procedures with small incisions. Dr. Al-Azzawi says
what he likes most about his job is that its diverse; one-day
he’s doing major abdominal surgery and the next day it’s an
endoscopy. Dr. Al-Azzawi emphasizes the importance of
explaining the signs and symptoms of colon cancer and
treatment options available. Azzawi has extensive areas of
interest in robotic abdominal procedures, laparoscopic
abdominal procedures and anorectal procedures. Dr. Al-
Azzawi’s Tenet Florida Physician Services (TFPS) offices are located in West Palm Beach,
Palm Beach Gardens and Jupiter. Dr. Al-Azzawi is on-staff at Good Samaritan Medical
