                                                                                  Govindarajan Narayanan, MD

                                                                                   Govindarajan Narayanan, M.D., is a pioneer in the
                                                                                  field of interventional radiology, a specialty that cuts
                                                                                  across different disciplines with the ability to treat nearly
                                                                                  every organ in the body with minimally invasive, target-
                                                                                  ed treatments. Narayanan, a professor of interventional
                                                                                  radiology, built the Division of Interventional Radiology
                                                                                  at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine,
                                                                                  and was named the first chairman of the historic new
                                                                                  Department of Interventional Radiology. Narayanan has
                                                                                  led many of the specialized clinical applications in inter-
                                                                                  ventional radiology that are now offered to patients at
                                                                                  Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center and in other
                                                                                  disciplines at the University of Miami Health System. Using catheters or transcuta-
                                                                                  neous needles to directly expose cancerous tissue to chemotherapy or energy-based
                                                                                  treatments such as radiation, Narayanan and his colleagues are treating tumors that
                                                                                  were once thought to be inoperable, and so extending patients’ lives in meaningful
                                                                                  ways.

                                                                                  Eduardo de Marchena, MD

                                                                                   Eduardo de Marchena, M.D., is an internationally
                                                                                  renowned cardiologist and an expert in interventional
                                                                                  cardiology who serves as associate dean for international
                                                                                  medicine at the University of Miami Miller School of
                                                                                  Medicine. He leads the International Medicine Institute,
                                                                                  which conducts global research, serves patients through
                                                                                  UHealth International, and educates medical students
                                                                                  from Latin America and the Caribbean through its
                                                                                  William J. Harrington Latin American training pro-
                                                                                  grams. De Marchena’s research has resulted in several
                                                                                  patents and patent applications in percutaneous cardio-
                                                                                  vascular devices, and he is recognized for world-leading
                                                                                  achievements in the transcatheter treatment of valvular heart disease. The recipient of
                                                                                  many distinguished honors, De Marchena has most recently been named the 2017
                                                                                  winner of the Miller School of Medicine Medical Alumni Association’s Hall of Fame
                                                                                  Award.

                                                                                   Dr. Noah Schreibman is a pulmonologist and is the
                                                                                  medical director of the sleep lab at West Boca Medical
                                                                                  Center. Dr. Schreibman has nearly 20 years of experience

                                                                                   Dr. Marla Dudak is a breast surgeon on the medical
                                                                                  staff at West Boca Medical Center. She attended Duke
                                                                                  University where she graduated Cum Laude with a
                                                                                  major in chemistry. Dr. Dudak remained at Duke for
                                                                                  medical school training. Her five year general surgery
                                                                                  residency was completed at University of Miami/
                                                                                  Jackson Memorial Hospital. She completed a twelve
                                                                                  month clinical breast care fellowship at the University of
                                                                                  Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas sponsored
                                                                                  by the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. Dr.
                                                                                  Dudak returned to South Florida in 2001 and currently,

                                |          |                                                             assessment and cancer care. Dr. Dudak is board certified in general surgery, and is a
