          Scott R. Ford serves as vice president of development and marketing at Holy Cross Hospital in Fort Lauderdale, where he focuses on securing
        major gifts and building strong relationships with donors. He also oversees strategic planning, budget management, marketing and special events.
        Prior to joining Holy Cross, Ford served as vice president of development for the Advocate Healthcare system, in Illinois. He also served as pres-
        ident of the Brokaw Hospital Endowment Fund. Previously, Ford was director of development for the University of Iowa Foundation – U of I
        College of Public Health. His professional background includes roles as a council member/mayor pro tem for the City of Lisbon, Iowa, and as a
        U.S. National Park Service park ranger. A resident of Tamarac, Ford received a B.A. in journalism and religious studies/philosophy from Marycrest
        College in Davenport, Iowa, and a Master of Arts in philanthropy and nonprofit management from the University of Northern Iowa. He is a mem-
        ber of the Association of Healthcare Philanthropy.
