We sweat a lot so we should drink plenty of water. Some people go to the hill
stations in summer.

Monsoon or Rainy Season : Monsoon brings
a lot of rain. On a rainy day, dark clouds appear

in the sky. There is lightning and thunder.
When it rains, everything is wet and slippery.
Sometimes we see a rainbow in the sky. We

carry umbrellas or wear raincoats to go out in
the rain. Children love to play in the rain.

Farmers wait for the rainy season. Rain
provides water for the crops to grow. Rainy Season

WOW!

Cold wet winds blow from the sea to the land from June to September. These

winds carry rain. These winds are called monsoon winds!

Autumn Season : During the months of

October and November, the weather is neither
hot nor cold. In this weather trees shed their
leaves. This is called the autumn season .

Winter Season : We have winter from
December to February. The days are short and
nights are long. Cold winds blow during these

months. We use blankets and quilts to keep
ourselves warm. We wear woollen clothes and
use heaters or light fire to protect ourselves

from the cold. People enjoy hot beverages like
tea and coffee and sit in the Sun.
