E-mail stands for the Electronic Mail. It is a service
available on the internet using which you can exchange
messages with other Internet users all over the world

An electronic mail(e-mail) is sent through the internet. It
is delivered to the recipients at the destination within a
few seconds.
Benefits of communication through e-mail
An E-mail is perhaps the fastest way of sending and receiving written messages
available for general use. Following are the benefits of communication through
E-mails.
1. Using E-mails you can send and receive messages from anywhere across
the world, provided you and the other person, connected to the Internet.
2. You can send a message to more than one recipient at the same time.
3. It is an inexpensive way of communication. It costs less than even a phone
call.
