STAND ALONE AND NETWORKED COMPUTERS
A Stand Alone Computer is one that is not connected
to any other computer in any way. Such computers
work independently and cannot share data and
hardware devices with other computers directly.
When two or more stand alone computers are
connected together in such a way that they can share
data and hardware resources with each other, they
become Networked Computers .
Need of Networked Computers
Connecting computers into a network offers many advantages. Some of the
main advantages of networked computers together are given below.

1. A network allows its users to share softwares, games, videos and other
