5. The Adjective
An adjective is a word that describes a noun, which is person,
place, or thing, or a state of being, usually the subject of a
sentence. An adjective tells us what something is like.
Read the following examples carefully :
a big tree black shoes a short girl a tall girl
a dirty face a small tree cold coffee agood boy
