P. 510
What’s an MVP in this book?
A representation or prototype of a value proposition designed specifically to test
the validity of one or more hypotheses/assumptions.
The goal is to do so as quickly, cheaply, and efficiently as possible. MVPs are
mainly used to explore potential customer and partner interest.
Tip
Start cheaply, even in large companies with big budgets. For example, use your
smartphone to make and test reactions to a video before you bring in a video
crew to “professionalize” videos and expand testing.
