Linking to Your YouTube Channel
YouTube also lets you link to your YouTube channel page. Just use this URL within
your link code:
http://www.youtube.com/user/username
Just replace username with your YouTube username.
Embedding YouTube Videos in a Web Page
Linking to your YouTube videos is good, but embedding one or more of your
videos on your own website is even better. It’s an easy process to embed any public
YouTube video on your site, even those you didn’t upload.
YouTube automatically creates an embed code for every public video on its site (as
well as your own private videos), and lists this code on the video page itself. You
display the embed code by clicking the Embed button beneath the video player.
As you can see in Figure 18.2, you have some options when it comes to embedding
a video. The options you choose are reflected in the code that YouTube generates.

What can you customize in an embedded video? Here’s the list:
• Include related videos. By default, YouTube will display a list of
“related videos” when your video is done playing. If you’d rather not
display these videos (which can interfere with your branding—or even
come for your competitors!), uncheck this option.
