The challenge
Evolving means we must accept that the only constant in our
lives is change. Things are changing fast so we must learn to
adapt fast
It is said that it is not the strongest of the species that survives,
nor the most intelligent that survives. It is the one that is most
adaptable to change. The same can be said about Rotarians and
their future.
Rotary International know that membership is a serious long
term issue and that the new worker is a virtual being and a
knowledge worker who frequently have unsociable hours in
multiple places with others in various organizations across the
globe. They work on Smart Phones, Tablets, Laptops and
Desk Computers all connected to a world that has a need for
everything in the right place at the right time.
Our challenge is to provide the Rotary that members, current
and potential, can understand and contribute to as well as
having benefit to them
