Using Adverb of time and Adverb of Manner
Adverb of time is used to provide information about when
something should be done. There are two types of adverbs
      used in procedure texts:

Adverb of time: These adverbs indicate how long we
should do something. Examples include "in 10 minutes"
          and "for 1 hour."
Adverb of manner: These adverbs describe how to

perform something. Examples include "slowly," "well,"
          and "evenly."

What are the Language Elements of Procedure Text?

          Using Simple Present Tense

Procedure texts should be written using the Simple Present
Tense because they contain imperative sentences about
how to make or do something.
           Using Imperative Sentences

Imperative sentences, also known as command sentences,
are sentences that give instructions, make requests, or give
orders. They are commonly used in procedure texts to
provide step-by-step instructions on how to perform a

specific task or activity. In imperative sentences, the verb
(action verb) is usually in its base form (infinitive) and
does not require a subject at the beginning of the sentence.
