Thailand Mice Venue Standard

Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Centre (BITEC), represented
by Ms. Panittha Buri, Managing Director, recently received the Thailand
MICE Venue Standard (TMVS) certification, the first formal accreditation
for venues in Thailand. The award was presented by General Thanasak
Patimapragorn, Deputy Prime Minister.

BITEC’s expansion continues to take shape as the executive committee of
Bhiraj Buri Group, led by Dr. Prasarn Bhiraj Buri, Chief Executive Officer,
Mrs. Prapee Buri, Chief Financial Officer, Ms. Panittha Buri, Managing
Director and Mr. Pitiphatr Buri, Executive Director, recently oversaw the
installation of the first super truss, creating the framework for the roof
structure. The project, set to launch November 2016 will add approximately
32,000 sq.m. of event space to the world-class exhibition venue.
