Rafter Shoe, Wood
• The rafter shoes for connections to wood are used for fastening
rafters at an inclination of 30° to 60° at the base
• The rafter shoes are available in 3 standard sizes for rafter widths of
80, 100 and 120 mm
• Rafter shoes are suitable as rafter abutments on ceiling joists
• They are easy to fit and enable secure, dimensionally stable
connections between roof and substructure
• Fastening material: Anchor/ring shank nails and angle fitting screw

• Means of fastening to rafters: Anchor/ring shank nails and angle
fitting screw
• Means of fastening to concrete: Screw anchor, bolt anchor, injection
mortar, etc.
