3. Reliability improvement works:

 OHE Modifications at AMQ due to shifting of point by Engg. Dept.:

Engineering department has planned the point shifting work (8 mts)

at AMQ, for execution of the same, OHE Obligatory mast also to be
relocated. TrD has done modifications accordingly by extending the

turnout and relocation of the Obligatory mast.

 Provision of Disconnector assembly on top side of the Lightning Arrester (LA):
As per revised SMI no. TI/SMI/0048
(Rev. 1) dated: 23.07.2021, the

Disconnector assembly of LA
should be repositioned at the Top

of the LA. The Division has taken-

up the work and replaced out all

419 LAs modifications.

 Replacement of rusted ACC wire :

In polluted areas like SNF, KI, TDU and DKJ the anti-creep wires
became rusted, due to this the mechanical strength of the wire got
degraded. The snapping of which may leads to major breakdown. To

avert this kind of failures, Division has come up with replacement of
rusted Anti Creep wires. Cumulative 53 during the year.
