amazing athletes and professional staff. Not only do we have some of the best Coaches on the Escarpment, but we are also excited to announce that Olympian Calynn Irwin will be joining our Snowboard Coaching Team. With all her experience and technical skills, I am sure our athletes will have an amazing year. These programs are all built using the guiding principles from the long- term athlete development plan just like racing and with the great Coaching Staff provided it should be another awesome season.
Alpine Committee
A huge thank you to our Georgian Peaks Board Members, Committee Members and Member Volunteers. These Members spend countless hours making sure ALL experiences are good ones. Without the commitment from so many we would not have the amazing place to enjoy during the winter months.
I would like to thank Frank Cantoni for his commitment to the Board of Directors and the Alpine Committee. Over the years Frank has made a huge commitment to helping improve the Alpine Programs. Frank always made time to discuss issues and talk though solution, his experience and dedication to the Club is greatly appreciated and will be missed. Thanks for your support over the years!
With the departure of Frank, I am excited to announce and work alongside our new Alpine Committee Chair, Todd Warnell. Todd brings a wealth of knowledge and a new perspective to our programs. I look forward to working with Todd and all the returning and new Alpine Committee Members.

Georgian Peaks NorAm 2020
After a very successful series last season, the NorAm Race Series will be returning to the Peaks this February. NorAms bring the next generation of athletes together in hopes of reaching the next level... THE WORLD CUP and we are honoured to have been asked two years in a row to host.
On February 4th and 5th, 2020 we will have some of the best women racing down Rogers. Our own Ali Nullmeyer who is back from injury will be competing. Along with Ali we will also have our Provincial and NCAA level skiers Camryn Metzger, Maddy Sullivan, Ashley Campbell and Charlie Comeau competing with hopes for some great results in their own back yard. This is a great opportunity for the Club’s rich racing history and an amazing experience for our young upcoming racers. Please continue to follow our updates as we get closer to the event.
Because this is such a high-pro le event, we would like to get our Membership involved. We want to show those coming for the NorAms what an amazing volunteer community we have here at the Peaks. We would like to invite our Member Volunteers to join us as Gate Keepers, Course Crew and in many other support positions. If you are interested, please contact alpine@georgianpeaks.com to sign up.
