Faculty outreach
10 and engagement
The Ignite Brigham program works with Brigham and Women’s Hospital
to identify and ideate around areas of actionable unmet medical need to
increase participation focused on commercially actionable innovation.
Drawing from lessons learned by the Mass General Brigham Center for COVID Innovation,
high priority, clinically relevant projects will be organized via a Grand Challenge model
that adapts and prioritizes processes to focus and advance conception, development and
execution. Where appropriate, selected innovations will be deployed into clinical settings
at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and commercialized through hands-on expert resources
partnering with Brigham and Women’s Hospital faculty to accelerate reduction to practice
and commercialization outcomes.
