GEAGROUND NF

Chemical Nature: water-borne resins based on polyacrylates,
polyurethanes, and auxiliaries.
Solids Content: approx. 23%
pH: approx. 8,0
Ionic Charge: anionic
Aspect: viscous white liquid
Utilization: pre-bottom and bottom for scoured and
full finishes to reconstitute the grain and
mask defects.

PROPERTIES
GEAGROUND NF is a pre-bottom used to obtain a reconstruction of the
grain, mask or “hide” the defect, and fill-out small defects of the
leathers' surface, besides reducing the pores size and improving the
leveling of the subsequent finish layers' absorption. On leathers with
“burned grain” problems, it acts as “sealing” of the grain, enabling to
obtain smooth, transparent, and equalized finishes. .
GEGROUND NF can be used in full grain or scoured leathers. Its
application has better closing effect when applied in multi-dot
machines, not being necessary a high load to obtain good results. It is
recommended to apply the product pure for the application on multi-
dot machines, or diluted half and half in water when applied with
spray gun. If necessary, pigments are compatible to improve the
covering power. .
GEAGROUND NF can be used for natural finishes. It presents good
adhesion with the different types of finishes, and can also be directly
embossed and/or milled. It also presents good softness, which makes
the obtainment of natural leathers easy. .
GEGROUND NF cannot be scoured or polished. Its balanced
composition grants a very silky touch to the leather, maintains the
finishes natural look, without harming the adhesion of finishes.
