PROPERTIES
GEAGROUND WD-1 is a pre-base recommended for all finishing types
that require natural appearance, transparency and, mainly, an
improvement in the grading of the leather. GEAGROUND WD-1 gives
pelts a fine “tightness” feel resulting from the excellent masking of
existing defects without losing the natural leather aspect. In order to
achieve such a result, it is recommended to use 350/400 parts of
GEAGROUND WD-1, 30/50 parts of pigment and enough water for
application with spray gun. GEAGROUND WD-1 may be combined
with other products such as waxes, casein and binders. For
application on roller coating machines, it is advisable to use
GEAGROUND WD-1 in higher concentrations.
