Section 2: The Student Code of Conduct Revision Process

As we continue to actively work on the Code of Conduct, our
student members have begun to take ownership during this
  writing process.

It is noteworthy to share that small focus groups and discussion
sessions will begin in January to engage the student population
in the revision process. This will allow all students to be heard
and take part in the transformation and rebuilding of the Code of
Conduct with their voices and their perspectives embedded in
the policy. Surveys, questionaires, and other forms of data
collection will be shared to ensure all student voices are
captured. Any adults willing to participate in this process, please
share your thoughts as well. Forward your perspectives to Dr.
  Watson’s district email address.

Section 3: Harassment, Intimidation & Bullying

As we move into the second half of the school season, I would
like to share the HIB Policy with the school community. Please
keep this information for future reference. It is imperative that we
continue to follow the HIB mandate. We have maintained a
perfect score of 78 on our respective building assessment, and
this is due to everyone’s diligence to keep our students safe and
our classroom climates nurturing and secure. Keep up the great
  work!

  Section 4: Other Relevant News

The most important part of this season is YOU!

YOU ARE RELEVANT. And relevant enough to add you into this
newsletter to close this first half of the school year.

  Happy Holidays!
