Good Morning Teaneck Family and Welcome Back to
the Newsletter! This issue will share updates regarding
The School Climate Tranformation Grant, The Student
Code of Conduct Revision Process, Harassment,
Intimdation & Bullying, and Other Relevant News over
the last two weeks.

Section 1: The School Climate Tranformation Grant

The Teaneck Public Schools District has been very busy
implementing the initial phases of planning of the SCTG-
LEA. Dr. Howie Knoff was in district for his Site Visit #2
and met with several “parts” of the district’s
administrative teams. The TPS district level and building
level administrators have provided great feedback to
guide and move our schools toward “The Teaneck
Advantage”.

Dr. Knoff will return to district for Site Visit #3 during
January 13-17, 2020. During this visit, he will begin
meeting and building relationships with students,
instructional staff across all 7 respective buildings, as
well as other community members to hear other
perspectives relative to the SCTG-LEA. If you would like
to ‘intimately’ be a part of that process, please reach out
to Dr. Watson or Mr. Thompson directly via email. You
may also include your students or specific class period
to partake in the building walk-throughs with advance
notice.
