MYSTERIOUS DRIVE TO GYMPIE
A pretty big roll-up of members on what was promising to be yet another beautiful day in Queensland.
We all had our drivers briefing at Eumundi by Will Johns and then left Checkpoint Charlie at 1-minute intervals to avoid ‘follow the leader’. We had to follow the written instructions and also answer a mixed bag of questions along the way.
This was truly a mysterious drive – well, for me anyway as I had no idea where we were going. Fortunately my navigator-wife made sense from the detailed route instructions and we managed to arrive at our lunchtime destination in Gympie after leaving Eumundi 2+ hours earlier.
