     Noosa Charity Car and
Bike Show 2021
IMPORTANT Members please read all the information in this letter from the
EVENT MANAGER
Dear Roadrunner Members
You will be aware that we are fast approaching our major event for year, The Noosa Charity Car and Bike Show. This year there will be a large display of special cars of all types as well as rare and unique classic vehicles along with a special display of varied and desirable motor bikes.
The Roadrunner Car Club’s nominated charity is Katie Rose Cottage Hospice and all proceeds from this event will go to them. For those who are not aware of the community service that is provided by Katie Rose Cottage Hospice, I have attached an information sheet written by Carol Raye (Hospice Chair) for your information.
Show location will be at Chaplin Park Noosaville; this site overlooks the beautiful Noosa River and is bounded by the Noosa Waters entrance canal. Exhibitor entry and spectator parking is via Mill Street: ample trailer parking is available should you wish to trailer your car/bike to the event. Spectators can also park along Gympie Terrace and walk across the foot bridge, adjacent to the Yacht Club.
Members are encouraged to become part of this special day by pre-registering and bringing along as many of their treasured cars as they like. Each entry requires a separate registration at $10.00 per entry/vehicle – this amount will be a direct contribution to Katie Rose Cottage Hospice fundraising on the day. If you also wish to bring along a motor bike, please discuss that first with Noel St John Wood on 0407 009 464.
The Exhibitors Entry will be open from 7.00am with all displays/vehicles to be in place by 8.00am ready for the gates to open to the public. Entry is open to all Roadrunner Car Club Members, and others/guests by invitation only. All makes and models of cars and motorcycles are welcome. Trophies and prizes will be awarded at the judges discretion and will be presented at 12.00 noon.
Trophies will be awarded for the following categories:
• Best Car in Show: 1st and 2 x Runner Ups • Best Motorcycle in Show
• People’s Choice
• Prize for one lucky People’s Choice entry.
(Note: All cars and motorcycles are expected to stay in place until after the Trophy Presentations.)
On-site catering will start with breakfast from 8.00am and a ‘sausage sizzle’ for lunch offered by the Tewantin Noosa Lions Club. Coffee and ice-cream vendors will also be on site from 8.00am. There will be a Raffle organised by Katie Rose Cottage Hospice that will be drawn on the day.
