Examples :
(+) Mr. Andreanto has been a teacher in this school since 2005.
(-) Mr. Andreanto has not been a teacher in this school since 2005.
(?) Has Mr. Andreanto been a teacher in this school since 2005?
(?) How long has Mr. Andreanto been a teacher in this school?
2) Present Perfect Tense is used to state event or thing that completely finished and has
corelation to the present condition.
Examples :
- I have lost my key. (= I haven’t got it now).
- Jimmy has gone to Australia. (= He is in Australia or his way there now)
- Oh dear, I have forgotten her name. (= I can’t remember it now)
- Have you washed your hair? (= Is it clean now?)
3) Present Perfect Tense is also used to state event that has “just” finished not long before the
present momment. (just = a short time ago).
Example :
Jane : Hello, have you just arrived? Would you like something to eat?
Nita : No, thanks. I have just had lunch.
4) The word ‘already’ used in Present Perfect Tense to state something that happened earlier
....than the predicted time.
Examples :
1. Leni : Don’t forget to post the letter, will you?
Ella : I have already post it.
2. Denny : When is Tom going to start his new job?
Freddy : He has already started.
