hind. After the first handful of laps came to a close, Osborne made the move on Adam, pushing him to 6th and left to deal with Justin Hill. It appeared that Adam fell victim and began to fade back as he let Hill and Aaron Plessinger by just before the midway point of the race. Now in 8th, Ciancurulo battled his teammate Tonus while the two piggy-backed each other into the deep stages of the moto. Luckily, both riders gained a position when Osborne pulled out of the race with a mechanical failure and the two seemed to be sitting pretty. Little did Ciancurulo know that Webb was charging hard from deep in the pack and it wasn’t until the final minutes that Webb was able to overtake the #44, pushing AC to 7th where he would finish and earn a 7th overall. Although he’s yet to finish inside the top five, Washougal was Adam’s 4th top ten on the season and definitely a step in the right direction with the 6th place moto score tying his season best. There’s more to come from this young gun.
