SUPERSTOCK
Bryce Prince has logged some impressive performances on
his YZF-R1 throughout the
2017 MotoAmerica season after clinching the Superstock 600 Championship last year and graduating to the bigger bike. The Californian scored the first podium finish of his career in the Superstock 1000 class in the second race at Road Atlanta, gathering some much needed momentum heading into the third round of the series at VIR. He had a challenging weekend in Virginia and was forced to battle through the pack in the second race, but he salvaged valuable championship points and heads into the fourth round of the series at Road America in sixth place in the championship.
Prince showcased decent speed throughout both sessions
on Friday, ending the second practice in fourteenth place overall. There was some inclement weather that heavily affected the conditions on Saturday morning, therefore setting the Superpole session from the first two practice sessions. Prince showed good pace during the third practice
in the damp conditions, but he was forced to start in fourteenth place on the grid, narrowly missing out on the qualifying shootout. >>
