Richardson showcased
his wet weather abilities
throughout Saturday morn-
ing’s qualifying session as
the Kiwi laid down a blinder
of a lap, placing himself in
third place on the front row
He brought a lot of excitement to the qualify- ing session as he improved
his times with each flying lap, eventually clocking a 2:34.269 to qualify as the fastest Superstock 600 machine by more than two full seconds. The first race was set to get underway and the riders were out on their warm up lap when things went awry for the New Zealander -- he tucked the front end heading through a shady section
at the back of the course, putting himself out of the
race before it even started.
In a stroke of luck, the race was red flagged due to >> an incident on the first lap
of the grid.

The Kiwi will be looking to rebound when the lights go out at Road America as he attempts to secure the first podium of his MotoAmerica career. >>
