was the indication of an intensely close race for the final couple of spots on the Superstock 600 podium, and Blevins found himself right
in the thick of the action throughout the first race.
The intensity was ramped up off the charts as the race was shortened to essentially an eight lap sprint. He narrowly missed out on the fight for the podium as he fell a couple of seconds behind Michael Gilbert in the
latter stages of the race, placing him tenth overall and fourth in his class. In the second race, Blevins was able to improve his starting position by a couple of spots as he fought his way up to ninth place on the opening lap. The Kawasaki rider fought back and forth with Daytona Anderson and Michael Gilbert throughout the opening couple of laps, eventually dropping back to eleventh position. After six laps had elapsed, he wasn’t able to resist the pressure from his fellow Kawasaki rider, Shane Richardson, and he lost another spot, demoting him to twelfth place overall where he would eventually finish.
