Anthony Mazziotto III is one of the most highly touted rising stars
on the American road racing scene; the New Jersey native was
named the AMA Youth Road Racer of the year in 2013 and went
Award one year later. He burst onto the MotoAmerica scene in 2015 and ended up finishing second in
the KTM RC390 Cup Championship with a pair of race victories under his belt. Mazziotto III earned the opportunity to travel to Silverstone for the inaugural running of the KTM RC Cup World Finals. In 2016, he did it all over again as the high schooler fought his way to second place in the overall standings and earned his spot at the World Finals yet again where he was able to score a second place overall finish. The teenaager has decided to make the step up onto a bigger bike for the 2017 season, contesting the Superstock 600 class aboard a Mazziotto Racing YZF-R6. He suf- fered a bit of misfortune at the opening round of the series in Road Atlanta, but he still managed to score eight championship points with an eighth place finish in the second race. Mazziotto III will continue to improve leaps and bounds throughout the season as the rider out of New Jersey comes to terms with the more powerful machine, making him a wildcard for the podium every time he lines up on the grid.
