MITCHELL OLDENBURG
IMAGE/JACKEDWARDS
Since recently getting the opportunity of a five-race factory ride with the TLD KTM team, Mr. Mitchel Oldenburg came out swinging last weekend at Hangtown. A previous 450 privateer during the 2015 outdoor series, Oldenburg turned enough heads and scored enough points to secure a treasured spot on one of the 250 powerhouse teams and ran with it to a 10th place finish overall last weekend. He filled in on the team midway through the Monster Energy supercross season for an injured Darryn Durham. In taking advantage of the supreme support, Oldenburg was signed on in a somewhat “tryout” fashion to see what the “freckle” can do. Having already tackled the pro series out of a van, the #42 of Oldenburg brings a lot of motivation into each round. With the ridiculously rough track of Glen Helen up next, the entire KTM team had their eyes on him to carry the momentum.
